The Bantry Market Traders Association (BMTA) was formed to act in the interests of all traders at Bantry Market. It is independent from Cork County Council, who regulate and operate the market.

The Management Committee for the BMTA are elected from traders every two years, hold regular meetings and work with other local organisations to ensure the interests of the market and its traders are looked after as well as help promote the market as well as Bantry as a whole.

If you are a trader and have an issue you wish to discuss with the committee or would like to become a trader, please feel free to contact a committee member directly at the market.
