The Bantry Market Traders Association (BMTA) was formed to act in the interests of all traders at Bantry Market. It is independent from Cork County Council, who regulate and operate the market.
The Management Committee for the BMTA are elected from traders every two years and hold regular meetings and work with other local organisations, like the Bantry Business Association to work together in the interest of Bantry as a whole.
If you are a trader and have an issue you wish to discuss with the committee or would like to become a trader, please feel free to contact a committee member directly at the market.
The committee was elected on 7th August 2020. Its members are:
Annette Birch – Secretary
Sarah Gray (Susan’s Sweet Sensations) – Chairman and Communications / Public Relations
Martin O’Flynn – Cultural Co-ordinator
Martin Hobbs (Soap Dreams) and Dave Hustwit (DH Sporting) provide support and advise to the committee.
